STATEMENT FROM PLANNED PARENTHOOD FEDERATION OF AMERICA ON THE PASSING OF CONGRESSWOMAN STEPHANIE TUBBS JONES

Planned Parenthood is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones. She was a woman of amazing strength and deep-rooted convictions, and our thoughts go out to her loved ones at this difficult time. Congresswoman Tubbs Jones was always a stalwart champion for women’s health care and a woman's right to choose, and Planned Parenthood was always proud to stand side by side with her on these issues. She will be missed not only by her friends and family, not only by those in her district, but by women across America.
