Planned Parenthood Mid and South Michigan joins pro-choice organizations to host a Welcome Breakfast for pro-choice legislators.
Spilling the beans over breakfast with Lansing pro-choice legislators
Planned Parenthood Mid and South Michigan joined Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Michigan, Michigan ACLU, Michigan Now MI List and Michigan Now to host a welcome breakfast for pro-choice state legislators. It was an ideal opportunity to welcome our eight new pro-choice House Representatives to Lansing and to learn how we can help them move commonsense policies from committees to the floor and into law.
During these challenging economic times, prevention policies will save millions of dollars in taxpayer money while putting prevention at the forefront of our state health care plan.
The breakfast, which took place in Lansing Feb. 11, was well-attended by pro-choice friends of Planned Parenthood.
With eight new pro-choice legislators in the State House and a new Pro-Choice President, we plan to build on the momentum we have and strengthen relationships with Lansing lawmakers so we can bring change to our own state at this opportune time.
Planned Parenthood Mid and South Michigan operates 11 health centers serving 15 counties in Mid and South Michigan.
