Bend, OR – Distinguished lawyer and women’s rights advocate Sarah Weddington will keynote Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette’s (PPCW) Central Oregon Annual Luncheon next Thursday, September 24 at the Riverhouse Convention Center in Bend. Central Oregon residents are invited to hear Weddington discuss both the past and future of reproductive freedom, including the important battles still being fought today.
In addition to Weddington, PPCW President and CEO David Greenberg will talk to supporters about Planned Parenthood’s health care and education services in Central Oregon. Harrison Pride, current PPCW Board Member and past PPCW Bend Teen Council Member, will also speak at the event.

Attendees will have an opportunity to make a donation to PPCW while at the event. VIP tickets for the event are also available, which include a meet and greet with Sarah Weddington. VIP ticket holders will attend a private pre-event reception with Weddington and receive a complimentary autographed copy of her book, A Question of Choice. VIP tickets are $125 each.
Central Oregon residents are invited to RSVP for the event or purchase VIP tickets online at www.ppcw.org by September 22, 2009. The suggested minimum donation for the event is $75.
