Ellensburg – Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho (PPGWNI) is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of their new Ellensburg Health Center, located at 613 N. Pine Street.

“Planned Parenthood has been part of the Ellensburg community for over twenty years,” said Anna Franks, President and CEO of PPGWNI. “We are proud to continue offering the same quality reproductive health care we always have, and are pleased to open this beautiful new site.”

Since 1989, Planned Parenthood operated within a historic building in downtown Ellensburg. During its two decades of operation, an estimated 45,000 clients received health care at that location. In order to better meet the needs of patients in the Kittitas region, the decision was made to purchase and remodel a new space. The brand-new Ellensburg Health Center is a larger facility, and, for ease of access, is conveniently located on the corner of 7th Avenue and Pine Street, near Main Street and University Way in Ellensburg.

The Grand Opening of the new Health Center will be held on Thursday, June 24th, from 5-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and will include a tour of the center. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Pink Catering.

Please join the Ellensburg Health Center staff and community supporters to learn more about the health care and educational services provided by Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho.
