Hempstead, NY—Twice a month, students at Nassau Community College will now be able to access on-campus family planning services on Planned Parenthood of Nassau County’s (PPNC) Plan Van.

The Plan Van, a mobile education and health care unit, will be stationed on the Nassau Community College Campus near the physical education building every second and fourth Thursday of the month while school is in session. Students will be able to receive low-cost birth control, emergency contraception, sexually transmitted infection testing and HIV testing, as well as counseling and information.

“We are so thrilled to be able to expand our partnership with Nassau Community College and bring much-needed reproductive health care to their students.  Now, they don’t even have to leave campus to ensure their sexual health and well-being,” said JoAnn D. Smith, PPNC’s President & CEO.
