MEMPHIS, TN – Planned Parenthood Greater Memphis Region (PPGMR) joins Mid-South area clergy and community groups, including Common Ground, in urging residents to avoid Saturday’s Downtown rally by the Loyal Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

“The great racial diversity of Memphis is what makes our city unique—something we should all celebrate,” said PPGMR CEO Barry Chase. We move our city forward by turning our backs on the hatred and segregation of the past. We urge everyone to deny the KKK the attention it seeks and avoid the rally to take place Saturday in Downtown Memphis.”
