THE FRIENDS OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD 40TH ANNUAL BOOK FAIR
The Largest Book Fair in the Midwest is coming up on November 12th, 13th and 14th.
WHAT Book Fair
WHEN Friday, November 12, 2010, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., admission $10 at 10 a.m., $5 at 5 p.m.
Saturday, November 13, 2010, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., free admission
Sunday, November 14, 2010, 10:00 a.m.—6:00 p.m., free admission

The Friends of Planned Parenthood (FOPP) is an auxiliary group of Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region (PPSWO). The first Book Sale held by Planned Parenthood Miami Valley Region in 1970 was held in the basement of Christ Episcopal Church and raised about $1,000. The Book Fair has grown every year since to become the largest Book Fair in the Midwest offering more than 250,000 items including books, collectibles, CD’s, DVD’s and more and grossed close to $75,000 in 2009. Volunteers have worked all year collecting items which are brought to the Book Loft on Embury Park Lane where they are sorted and organized into 47 categories and priced to sell. The 44 volunteers who worked in the Book Loft last year totaled 5,626 volunteer hours.
