Planned Parenthood of Rocky River soon may have to make a change because of a proposed cut in Title X funding.Title X is intended to provide funding for family planning to low-income women. A proposal in Congress would cut all federal funding to Planned Parenthood, which means Medicaid recipients would no longer be able to visit Planned Parenthood centers. If approved, the move would eliminate $317 million from the family planning centers nationwide.
